i've used a deep tan speckled clay to create wheel thrown butter dishes. Each butter dish has a tall inner wall to contain the butter, and a lid with a comfortable handle that fits snug along the base of the butter dish. holds half of a block of butter.
allow for slight variations in size as everything is 1:1 , made by hand.
